Do I need my own provider accounts?
To run models, yes: connect at least one of fal, Replicate or ElevenLabs. Each takes a minute to set up, and you can add more later. Without a key you can still chat and plan with the free on-device agent.
What does running a model cost?
Whatever your provider charges. Images usually cost a few cents and video is usually priced per second. Recut shows the price on every model card before you run it, and auto-run never goes past the budget you set.
Which Macs does Recut run on?
Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 12 or later. The free on-device agent needs macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence switched on.
Is my work private?
Your projects live on your Mac and your keys stay in its Keychain. Files go directly to the provider that runs the model. Recut's servers handle sign-in, billing and updates, and never see your prompts or files.
What happens after the free trial?
Your plan starts at $5 a month or $50 a year, whichever you picked. You can cancel any time from the app and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Is there a Windows version?
Not as an app yet, but Recut also runs in your browser on any computer, Windows included. Sign in with the same account and connect your keys.
